Exceptional Brickwork for Bellway Homes in Greater Manchester

What We Did

AMBC Limited was appointed as the brickwork contractor for Bellway Homes’ Parr Bridge development in Tyldesley, Greater Manchester.

The project consists of 99 homes across a mix of detached, semi-detached and mews properties, built to Bellway’s high-quality standards. With 11 different house types, the site includes a variety of layouts and design features, showcasing both craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Project Story

Parr Bridge marks an important milestone for AMBC as our first project for Bellway Homes. The development has provided a great opportunity to strengthen relationships with a new client while demonstrating the standards and professionalism that define our work.

Key highlights and challenges include:

• Our first collaboration with Bellway Homes, establishing excellent working relationships with site management and commercial teams.
• Working alongside former apprentices who have developed through the AMBC training pathway and are now thriving as self-employed bricklayers.
• Consistently achieving 5s and 6s on NHBC inspections, reflecting outstanding quality and site standards.
• The site is currently being assessed for an NHBC Pride in the Job Award — a testament to the hard work, quality, and pride of everyone involved.
