What We Did

AMBC Limited was appointed to deliver the brickwork for a large luxury detached home at Dale End. This bespoke property required an exceptionally high level of craftsmanship, incorporating:

Stonework features
Hand-built chimneys
Voussoir heads
Coping and plinth detailing
Recessed panelling and recessed joints

Project Story

This home was unlike any other. The architectural design incorporated a range of unique and technically challenging structural details that demanded precision and adaptability from our team.

Close collaboration with the client and other trades ensured every detail was delivered to the highest standard. Particular care was taken when analysing drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency across the build. Thanks to skilled craftsmanship and strong communication, the property was delivered exactly to specification.

Our relationship with PH Property Holdings Ltd and the site management team was excellent throughout. With strong communication and shared goals, the project was delivered on programme and within our targeted budget.

I first came across Mitch and his gang approximately 7/8 years ago when he was working on one of our sites with his gang as a Bricklayer. Although Mitch was working for another Bricklaying Contractor, being an ex-Bricklayer myself, I knew straight away he took pride in his work and worked diligently to produce a fantastic build to a very high standard and to programme. I took his telephone number for future works.

When an opportunity arose for another Bricklaying Contractor to join our Tender List, I had no hesitation whatsoever in putting Mitch (AMBC) forward to our Surveying Department for future works as we had already witnessed the quality of work we would be receiving if he were to be successful in his tender submissions.

AMBC have recently completed a 5500sq ft bespoke build for PHPH in Cheshire (Mottram St Andrew) which is a stunning 5 Bed Detached Property with Detached Garage, built within a rural setting with surrounding fields and countryside. This property shows off some of the best brickwork and natural stonework I have seen in a long time. His team were fantastic to deal with on a daily basis and nothing was too much trouble. Like myself Mitch has OCD about his work and strives to achieve the highest quality at all times, he cares and takes matters personally when things don’t quite go to plan.

We are currently working on yet another Bespoke Build in Cheshire with AMBC and the Quality is again what you would expect from Mitch and his team. I would have no hesitation in recommending AMBC for future works.

This was our first one-off build of this scale and complexity and we are extremely proud of the AMBC team for their craftsmanship and commitment. We are now working on Plot 2 at Dale End and cannot wait to see the development progress further.
